The news worldwide went ape-sheet over Trump's immigration travel orders. I agree that Trump initiated them with zero diplomacy and clarification. Should have been handled far better, with more explanation and more humane treatment.

Then again, let's look at the details.

The Obama admin updated the Department of Homeland Security’s orders regarding travel visas from the 7 countries. They selected the countries for a hardcore 'watch'. DHS announcement here:
https://www.dhs.gov/news/2016/02/18/dhs ... er-program

Basically, the policy order by Trump is an escalation of Obama’s previous escalation.

I’m not for or against this. But I find it hysterical that Obama, Hillary, and Kerry got a complete free pass, while Big Orange Thump is seen as the devil for walking farther down the path they made.

In 2013 President Obama suspended refugees from Iraq for six months. People loved it.
http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/al-qaeda- ... d=20931131

In 2015 Congress passed, and Obama signed, a law restricting visas from states of concern (Syria, Iraq, etc.) . The media was okay with that.
https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/8/1187

and in 2016 Obama’s DHS, Jeh Johnson, expanded those restrictions. No problem, right?
https://www.dhs.gov/news/2016/02/18/dhs ... er-program

The Trumpster is taking the same action as Obama did in 2013, and applying Visa restrictions to the nation states Obama selected in 2015 and 2016. The media exploded. Marches and riots. Soros time!

All of this nonsense could have been avoided with more tact and diplomacy, followed by someone with a brain in the Thump admin explaining that the 90-day visa suspension is a heightened continuance of the Obama admin plan.

Instead, Thump just went full retard and couldn't/didn't want to explain. Therefore he deserves the flak.

Has this guy been told to be a wrecking ball?

So now it's come out that he's not even reading the EO's he's signing. Just getting his staff to give him some cliff notes overview. He is mad that he wasn't fully briefed on the EO that allowed Steve Bannon to join the National Security Council.

Trump has been all over the map as usual, dropping both aimless lies and piercing truths alike. That's how he rolls.

But his critics are bordering on worse

And The Oscar Goes To... Chuck Schumer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ULkINCDiIA

Schumer 2015: "Refugee Ban Necessary" VS. Schumer 2017

That's the same Schumer who basically voiced a veiled threat from the CIA to Trump on live television. It was a scripted piece of drama organized by MSNBC:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCtIdpBocNA

For Schumer, it was great when Obama ordered the DHS to elevate scrutiny and treat each refugee case very seriously (from the 7 countries which the Obama admin picked). A refugee pause may be necessary, Schumer righteously declared. When Trump escalated the length of the screening so the process took 90 days (thus generating a pause, as Schumer wanted), Schumer took the opportunity to soapbox on how evil and alien this was to the American way.

P.S. The list of the 7 'refugee ban' countries is very interesting. 6 of those 7 were cited way, way back by General Wesley Clark, as the countries which the Pentagon wanted to invade or conduct a regime trick on after 9/11. The only country that has survived intact -- the one they tried to overthrow via covert means and failed big-time -- is Iran.

That's the country that the Neocons are obsessed with. That's the true rival to Saudi Arabia and Israel, and to Western banks and oil companies. Iran is the power holding up Syria and Hezbollah and the Yemeni rebels. Iran is not the source of Muslim terror (US-allies Qatar and Saudi Arabia are).

Instead, Iran is an alternative source of hydrocarbons to China and India. Iran is the only independent power in the Middle East, with a defense force, leadership, and economic system uncontrolled by globalist levers. And President Thump the figurehead is currently surrounded with NeoCons who want to get very hostile with Iran, a country which NSA general Flynn just put 'on notice'.

Note for the future. In 1-2 years from now, will President Thump fulfill the NeoCon dream of taking the war to Iran? If he does, it will be a mega scary mess.

No matter who wins the election, Goldman Sachs always gets a big foot in the door

It's unclear if any of this means anything in particular, such as direct and organized Goldman influence on the current admin. However, it does follow the general pattern that former Goldman officials continue to get very high ranking government or central banking posts, not only in America but in several countries throughout the Western world. This fact is often explained away by establishment voices that Goldman produces 'talent.' Other analysts are not so kind and use harsher words.

Trying to appear as a populist righter of wrongs, Trump (his campaign) once ran an ad which "said Goldman Sachs' CEO had "robbed [the] working class." It's curious how, after winning, the Trumpster then hired a few Goldman VIPs.

Gary Cohn
Appointed Director of President Trump's National Economic Council ("NEC")
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Cohn ... ent_banker)

Despite denials, this is one of the Goldman guys who made sure the entire nation of Greece got totally screwed. Goldman, along with Greek and German politicians, helped turn the place into an economic hellhole.

Steven Mnuchin
- Nominated Secretary of the Treasury (following the Goldman footsteps of Hank Paulson and Robert Rubin)

Mnuchin clearly has a wide range of experience, but one part of his background is very intriguing. At Yale, he was a member of the Skull and Bones secret society (1985), one of a few Yale senior year organizations whose memberships include several American elites (Bush, Kerry, Angleton, Luce, Lovett, Stimson, Rockefeller, Harriman, Bundy, etc, etc.).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steven_Mnuchin

Dina Powell
- currently the head of Goldman Sachs’ Impact Investing business, and global head of corporate engagement and president of Goldman Sachs Foundation.
- Powell joined Goldman Sachs in 2007 as a managing director[1] and was named partner in 2010.
- Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Powell served as Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs, Deputy Undersecretary of Public Affairs and Public Diplomacy for the United States government, and as the Assistant to the President for Presidential Personnel, a senior staff member at the White House.
- On January 12, 2017, it was announced that she will be Assistant to the President and Senior Counselor for Economic Initiatives for President Donald Trump.
- She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a member of the Trilateral Commission (premier neoliberal think tanks of The Swamp, which Trump is supposed to drain).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dina_Powell

Jay Clayton
- the Trump pick for the SEC Chair, whose job is to actually protect Wall Street firms when they repeatedly break the law
-Wall Street corporate lawyer from the Sullivan and Cromwell firm, which birthed such CIA Rockefeller spooky elites as the Dulles brothers.
-Clayton's major client, among other Wall Street financials, was Goldman Sachs.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jay_Clayton_(attorney)

Steve Bannon
- former Goldman investment banker and Breitbart news executive chair
- now chief strategist for Trump and member of the National Security Council
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Bannon

- Called 'the great manipulator' by TIME magazine, Bannon has been quoted as follows:
Trump is a “blunt instrument for us,” Bannon told Ken Stern for Vanity Fair last summer. “I don’t know whether he really gets it or not.”

"I believe that Flynn is a dangerous man"

http://www.theamericanconservative.com/ ... ite-house/

Observations from Philip Giraldi, a former CIA officer

Lt General Flynn, the former (fired) Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, and Trump's national security adviser is currently in trouble.
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-02-1 ... ls-scandal

There's something about this guy that's zealous and creepy. He is obsessed with Muslims and in particular with Iran -- with starting some kind of war with Iran. Flynn hangs out with another psycho named Michael Ledeen, a sworn neoconservative also obsessed with Iran. These guys are liars. Terrorism flows from America's allies in the Middle East. Not Iran.

America doesn't need another major war, and the Middle East sure doesn't need it either. Trump is going to get us all in much more trouble if he holds on to Flynn too closely.

I rarely side with the Democrats and their CIA pals, but in this case, I think they're right and Flynn should be fired. Get someone more even-headed and realistic. Establish some 'normal' security and get some jobs and business going, as was promised. Or was that all BS and more mass chaos is actually scheduled?

One day later, Flynn resigns

I don't think what Flynn did was seriously bad, although if it went down as explained by the status quo, then it was technically wrong and cast the Trump admin in even worse light. So he most likely was asked to resign.

In the public sphere, a freshly retired (or fired) Flynn did one amazing thing. General Flynn was interviewed by Al Jazeera and said some incredible things about a leaked DIA report regarding Syria and Iraq.

MUST Watch clip in which General Flynn spills the beans about the Obama admin's crimes:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1oEoCRkLRI

He verified the leaked DIA report and said the 'the administration', the Obama-CIA crew, watched with approval as their terrorists and arms moved from Libya to set up shop in Syria, where they were forming a 'Salifist principality.' Factions in the West, led by the Obama White House, secretly welcomed the rise of ISIS, and various non-moderate anti-Assad rebels. They armed them with taxpayer money from the States, and funny money from Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

However Flynn is certainly no angel whistle-blower. As a counter-insurgency hard-ass, he also apparently set up death squads in Iraq and Afghanistan during the Bush years, which is just not cool. He's a proponent of endless war with Muslim countries. His answer to CIA meddling in the Middle East is simply amplified meddling and aggression by US military. Not cool.

Flynn is temporarily replaced by Lt. General Joseph Keith Kellogg, Jr. as Acting National Security Advisor.

Details about the leaked DIA report discussed by General Flynn:
https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfr ... syria-iraq

Here's the actual report, made public by Judicial Watch. It's very interesting to read a top secret DIA report, even if it is heavily redacted:

The Political Assassination of Michael Flynn

https://www.bloomberg.com/view/articles ... hael-flynn

According to this columnist and his contacts, what Flynn did might not have been illegal, and Flynn maybe didn't lie at all. Maybe he didn't speak of any under-the-table diplomacy before he took office. But due to the perceptions of shady business, he was sacrificed to save the rickety Trump admin. Under the bus, General!

One White House official with knowledge of the conversations told me that the Russian ambassador raised the sanctions to Flynn and that Flynn responded that the Trump team would be taking office in a few weeks and would review Russia policy and sanctions. That's neither illegal nor improper.

Whether Flynn is guilty of anything or not, what I do know is that he was both a combatant in and victim of serious factional warfare in D.C..

1. Flynn wanted a healthier, less hostile relationship with Russia. For many in the national security state, including many politicians in DC, this was absolute heresy. Russia must remain the bad guy, and Trump must be viewed as the blackmailed 'contact' of Putin.

2. Flynn was openly hostile not only to Hillary and other big Democrats from Obama down, he was a big critic of the CIA and its many media allies. Flynn even mentioned Pizzagate and said it was a real conspiracy that needed investigation. Even if Pizzagate is just totally fake (and it certainly could be), it's still a huge thing for a senior intelligence official (and his son) to loudly talk about.

3. Some pro-Israeli writers are sympathetic to Flynn because he promised serious pressure on Iran. He was just starting to deliver on that (which is a very bad idea imo). Whereas various Liberal-Obama-CIA-ish allies said the Iran deal is set and done, and shouldn't be messed with.

Just throwing this in:

Obviously, the order hasn't been issued yet, so who knows, but I like the idea that less government money & time will be wasted on this boondoggle.

Well, I guess it was only a matter of time. The Trump admin, masquerading as a nationalist government, has dropped the facade and gone full Establishment/internationalist neocontard. It possibly, or probably, was thinking that way from Day One, and was waiting to get the go-ahead later to reveal itself. Trump has lost many Repub voters and oddly picked up a few reluctant Democrat war supporters in high places.

On the domestic front:
-The Affordable Care Act (Obama-care) replaced with something more affordable and more popular? Nope. The Rinos didn't want it and apparently neither does Trump. We'll eventually see something that's going to be a close copy to Obamacare (once tons of time and money is wasted on militarism).
-A logical alternative to the current illegal immigration problems, beyond spreading fear to mostly innocent immigrants who are both illegal and legal? Nope.
-Reconfigure some big trade deals more in the USA's favour? Nope.
-Reigning in the widespread unconstitutional fedgov actions put into place by Bush and Obama? Nope.
-With proven Deep State spying on Team Trump, one would think he would investigate the entire, sprawling surveillance system that appears out of control. Nope, he actually likes it as long as it's not pointed at him.
-Heavy focus on jobs and rebuilding America? Nothing much so far.
-Trade deficits, federal deficits? Reigning in the debt? Looks like the opposite so far.
-Here comes the Debt Ceiling again. It's a bigger deal than before. We won't be seeing trillions of new borrowed cash to 'Make America Great Again' (MAGA) unless Trump bows to the Fed. He probably will.

On the International Front:
-Earlier the new admin was talking about telling NATO and other allies to pay their fair share or expect less American 'protection' in the racket. Now NATO is great again.
-China was a bad, bad country. Bunch of currency manipulators and 'killing us' in trade. Now they're great and 'helping us' with the current North Korean stupidity.
-Earlier, Trump promised no heavy US involvement in Syria. Russia was killing Obama's terrorists so that was fine. Suddenly Trump's militarists want no less than 50k US boots on the ground. Maybe as high as 150k, if we believe what some of the generals and intel lords are saying.
-This won't be Iraq in 2003, says Gorka, a lunatic Neocon Trump adviser.
-Trump naval armada is heading toward NK. It's a show of force. Emphasis on show.
-Giant bombs dropped in Afghanistan, blowing up old tunnels built by the CIA-Saudis in the 1980s.
-Tomahawks launched at Syria in retaliation for a fake 'Sarin gas' bombing that the Syrians didn't even do. There was no Sarin. Instead a terrorist warehouse full of chemical precursors was struck. Some of the mainstream press worldwide and retired US military figures figured that out.

For all this aimless Trump belligerence, the 'liberal' media is hilariously warming up to Trump (less and less challenging his legitimacy), as he is acting more in accordance with the rhetoric of Hillary Clinton, McCain, and many others in the war-like Establishment.
