But you might be hammering all alone in the dark and never know it. That's the really devious part.

So Facebook is apparently doing the same.
Here's a recent story: http://hotair.com/archives/2016/05/19/e ... -abortion/ PS Patricia Heaton is awesome. |

Yeah, Facebook's been in the news for about a week-and-a-half now about how their "trending" stories on the right side of the page appear to be censoring conservative stories. Now ex-employees have apparently come forth with stories about how they would pick and choose the stories that they deemed to be "hot."
And yes, Patricia Heaton is pretty awesome. Facebook Trending seemed pretty consistently refer to HB2 as an "anti-LGBT" bill up until "Trendgate" started spinning up. ![]() |

Then, there's Facebook
The most disturbing thing about my meeting with Mark Zuckerberg http://www.cnbc.com/2016/05/19/the-most ... ntary.html Don't be fooled by the provocative title. This is typical Glenn Beck, right out of his playbook. Zuckerberg is actually great. Facebook is actually great and deserves respect. Maybe 1 bad apple worker in there. Maybe a small grain of truth to the rumours, but I see nothing. Nothing to see here, folks, so move along. Yada. I can sometimes get some productive information from a Blaze writer as opposed to listening to Beck, just like I can find an Infowars writer far more insightful than a raving from Alex Jones. The truth is, Beck surely didn't research very hard at all, did he? There is definitely some documented evidence of legit, non-rule-breaking political voices on FB being censored. And Youtube isn't that much different either. I'm so glad I have zero interest in social media. For years I've been counseling the younger folk to get off the face-crack and t w a t t e r, if only to spend less time gossiping and self-reporting their lives. |

Facebook has decided to start tracking EVERYONE.
https://tech.slashdot.org/story/16/05/2 ... e-internet Also, they're eavesdropping on your phone: https://yro.slashdot.org/story/16/05/25 ... hone-calls And they've joined with a bunch of other social media sites to stop "hate speech" in Europe. Not America... yet. http://legalinsurrection.com/2016/05/in ... in-europe/ |
