How did the impossible happen so easily... twice now?

Mosul is a city of 1.8 million Iraqi citizens. It's a pretty big place, requiring 10s of 1000s of police and security forces to properly administer and control.

In 2014, two divisions of well-armed Iraqi troops were among the security forces guarding the city. That's 30,000 men with US Humvees, some heavier armoured vehicles, mortars, artillery, and heavy machine guns.

A band of ISIS fighters drove up to the outskirts of the city. The updated number of ISIS fighters approaching Mosul was 1,300. They drove trucks and cars. They had much lighter weapons compared to the 2 Iraqi divisions. In terms of odds, the Iraqi army had a 23 to 1 advantage in manpower. In terms of firepower, the odds were arguably even better; I won't even make any numbers up. Rather, just imagine Iraqi soldiers with years of training with modern American weapons. Then of course, US air-power used in support of an Iraqi defense would have been devastating to ISIS fighters in simple trucks and cars... only if the air-power were called in to obliterate vulnerable convoys of vehicles.

What happened? The impossible.

The official story is that 30,000 Iraqi soldiers ran for their lives from the encroachment of 1,300 invaders; some Iraqi officers defected; all the heavy weapons were taken by ISIS; and the US mainstream press and US government claimed that the attack was a shocking surprise that couldn't be stopped.

Without firing a shot, ISIS took Mosul, took all the US weapons, and then proceeded to steal $470 million from the Mosul banks.

In Baghdad, the Iraqi government led by PM Maliki was naturally freaking out. He said the Iraqi generals ordered a hasty withdraw of both divisions. There was no mass terror from their men but a well-ordered withdraw against Maliki's orders.

http://www.globalresearch.ca/the-destru ... te/5386998

Now something similar has happened with the fall of Ramadi. Iraqi military forces had a 10-1 advantage in manpower vs the oncoming ISIS forces. They abandoned the city (following orders no doubt). The USgov simply did next to nothing to stop the ISIS takeover of Ramadi. Big chunks of ISIS could have been blown to hell. It would have been a turkey shoot, given the open terrain and the lack of anti-air defenses. But the US air force instead conducted 7 (apparently inconsequential) air-strikes and then retired due to a 'sand-storm'.

This despite the fact that the next day ISIS was holding victory parades among perfectly clear skies, the militants assembling in massive rows down the wide open street. With no “sandstorm” excuse, airstrikes could have easily wiped out entire factions of the extremists the US is supposedly fighting, yet none occurred. Why? Had this too been desired by the US-coalition in order to “isolate” the “strategic depth of Shia expansion” in Iraq?

In truth, these militants were allowed to take Mosul and now Ramadi. According to the recently publicized DIA document, things were going as forecasted. These cities were gifts from the USgov.

Military men know that the ISIS 'offensives' could be eradicated in mere days. A squadron of A-10s and F-18s, plus some B-1s, B-2s, and B-52s would have pretty much ended the problem, before ISIS even got inside these cities. Instead, the USGov is playing pretend, following their 'real' plan laid out in the 2012 report.

Here's some of the 1,300 ISIS guys walking into Mosul. How could 30,000 soldiers hope to defeat such an unstoppable force of... rejects from a B-movie?

They must be jihadi ninjas! Their Japanese import trucks must be made out of titanium, and couldn't be detected while driving in neat compact convoys across 300 kms of flat arid land: no trees, straight highway. Their attack was astonishing and totally unforeseen until the last moment!

Below there's pics of ISIS in a big parade, showcasing all the neato stuff they ripped off from the US taxpayer:

Apparently not a single US general or politician was demanding massive (real) airstrikes to end parties like that. It's just too scary to even try. Instead there would be 'selective strikes' that have proven to be totally ineffective (because they're not supposed to be).

ISIS Furious About Conspiracy Theories and Truthers!

This is so funny. The Corbett Report is a well known, indie journal that usually has fresh insights.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRMPm59L4tc

The video is very informative. There's so much skepticism surrounding ISIS and other such groups that it's genuinely hurting their recruitment from the common folk of the Middle East. ISIS is now desperate to fight the rumours and facts surrounding them and Al Qaeda. The talking points seem to almost come straight from the perception management teams of the USGov, their contracted PR firms, and corporate media.

Really, we're terrorists in charge here. All us! Don't believe those conspiracy theories. You gotta believe us. We're unstoppable ninjas. Nobody helps or guides us. Why don't you believe us? Read our newsletter and we'll disprove the lies!

Why is all this chaos happening with the Islamic State?

Key Iraq War Architect: “Our Objective Should Be a New Sunni State Out of the Western Part Of Iraq, the Eastern Part of Syria”

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-05-2 ... n-part-ira

Neocon John Bolton was 1) a tireless proponent of the invasion of Iraq, 2) a staunch defender of everything Israel wants, and 3) an endless opponent of Iran and Syria.

Bolton welcomes the rise of Sunni power in western Iraq and eastern Syria. Why? These parts can break away from the influences of Iran and Syria and form their own country. In other words, the territories being 'conquered' or occupied by ISIS today should form a new nation. As it happens, such a 'principality' is exactly what the DIA document outlined and supported as well.

Here are some great articles by Washington's blog. They have a lot of good mainstream links.

The Chaos In Iraq Is By DESIGN
http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2014/06/ ... esign.html

Iraq is targeted for further balkanization and dismemberment.

Syria has been a target for the same for a long time too:

Newly-Declassified U.S. Government Documents: The West Supported the Creation of ISIS
http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2015/05/ ... -isis.html

As usual, oil & gas and pipelines are big factors behind the whole mess:
http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2014/08/ ... -1948.html
http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2015/03/ ... legal.html

Not to mention the Israeli factor in all the chaos:
http://www.informationclearinghouse.inf ... le1438.htm
http://www.ipsnews.net/2004/03/iraq-war ... h-adviser/

Last of all, Saudi Arabia and aligned Gulf States want to rule the Sunni Muslim world and make sure that Iran and its Shia Muslim allies lose the big game for hegemony in the Middle East. To that end, the Saudis -- along with their American, French, British, Turk, Jordanian, and Israeli allies -- are going to unleash more jihadi nutcases throughout the region.

What a mad house....

Any sane person would not want anything to do with such a corrupt, violent, cynical mess. Game of Thrones is boring and tame compared to the backstabbery, slaughter, and deceit going on here.

After the impossible was allowed to happen, ISIS became the most well-armed terrorist army in history

Iraq lost 2,300 Humvee armoured vehicles in Mosul: PM

http://news.yahoo.com/iraq-lost-2-300-h ... 57509.html

Baghdad (AFP) - Iraqi security forces lost 2,300 Humvee armoured vehicles when the Islamic State jihadist group overran the northern city of Mosul, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said on Sunday.

"In the collapse of Mosul, we lost a lot of weapons," Abadi said in an interview with Iraqiya state TV. "We lost 2,300 Humvees in Mosul alone."

Bro, are you shyting me? Not a shot fired and they got 2,300 Humvees from one occupied city?

If the USgov, Pentagon, and CIA were even remotely serious about how the Islamic State was a rising threat, and they actually were angry that their so-called terrorist foes had stole all their stuff, you would have seen a massive, unstoppable, incredibly violent counter-attack.

You would have seen cruise missiles, aircraft carrier sorties 24/7, bomber alpha strikes, etc. There would be special forces. There might even have been the sudden appearance of the 1st Marine Division and the 101st Airborne. In and out, under a month.

The point wouldn't be to re-occupy Iraq. It would have been to erase the world of the Islamic State, with help from the Iraqi gov and even Jordan, Israel, Turkey, etc. (other supposed foes of IS). Damn, they might even get back equipment... at least the stuff they don't blow to hell.

Not only was it 2,300 Humvees from Mosul the Iraqi army supposedly abandoned (or were ordered to leave behind), there was also US-made artillery, mortars, anti-tank weapons, missile launchers, heavy trucks, and tanks. Yes, IS has a few American tanks now. And not a single US general has resigned and said a word on TV to growl their outrage at Washington's indifference? It's not just Obama. It's the whole system gone quiet.

With all this stolen American equipment, IS has a better-equipped army than most small countries in the world! And it's all free.

Plus they have stolen hundreds of millions in cash from Iraqi banks.

It's becoming clear that the Islamic State -- whatever the hell it is -- has been specifically allowed to grow and flourish, without any real resistance. The DIA document said that this was the plan back in 2012.

Ex-intel officials: Pentagon report proves US complicity in ISIS
Renowned government whistleblowers weigh in on debate over controversial declassified document

https://medium.com/insurge-intelligence ... bef96e20da

You won't see these retired intelligence experts in the mainstream news, and yet here they are speaking to anyone who will listen.

Pentagon’s Daniel Ellsberg, the NSA’s Thomas Drake, and the FBI’s Coleen Rowley, as well as Alastair Crooke, a former senior MI6 officer who spent three decades at the British intelligence agency, all seem to agree that the recently published DIA document proves complicity.

What's more worrying is that the document is merely a summary, and a large portion of it is redacted [censored] to conceal other information which may be even more damning.

The publication of the document is not only the product of a FOIA lawsuit. By agreeing to hand it over (at this fateful time), some faction in the Pentagon or US intelligence appears to be purposely leaking the information. The point of it must be an attempt to frustrate or stop the toxic USgov involvement with terrorists, and perhaps even to stop a widening, unclear war. It is also a clear swipe at Hillary Clinton, who was up to her eyeballs in this mess. Coincidentally she happens to be running for president right now (while Obama, Biden, and the others will be long gone).

Turkish military says MIT shipped weapons to al-Qaeda
http://www.al-monitor.com/pulse/origina ... pons.html#

MIT is Turkey's national intelligence service.

Secret official documents about the searching of three trucks belonging to Turkey's national intelligence service (MIT) have been leaked online, once again corroborating suspicions that Ankara has not been playing a clean game in Syria. According to the authenticated documents, the trucks were found to be transporting missiles, mortars and anti-aircraft ammunition. The Gendarmerie General Command, which authored the reports, alleged, "The trucks were carrying weapons and supplies to the al-Qaeda terror organization.” But Turkish readers could not see the documents in the news bulletins and newspapers that shared them, because the government immediately obtained a court injunction banning all reporting about the affair.

When President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was prime minister, he had said, “You cannot stop the MIT truck. You cannot search it. You don’t have the authority. These trucks were taking humanitarian assistance to Turkmens.”

Since then, Erdogan and his hand-picked new Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu have repeated at every opportunity that the trucks were carrying assistance to Turkmens. Public prosecutor Aziz Takci, who had ordered the trucks to be searched, was removed from his post and 13 soldiers involved in the search were taken to court on charges of espionage. Their indictments call for prison terms of up to 20 years.

In scores of documents leaked by a group of hackers, the Gendarmerie Command notes that rocket warheads were found in the trucks' cargo.
