It was expected that the Paris talks would lead to some kind of legal agreement. After all, it's the pet project of the globalists, and thus an attempt to globalize/standardize/centralize aspects of the world economy (in favour of the globalists).

But there was an amusing snag...

The one word that almost sank the climate talks

When it comes to the fate of the "developing world" (once called the Third World), there's two main theories about where this is all going.

1. Each year, money from the advanced nations will be taken from taxpayers and shuttled to the developing world to bring them up to steam. The lifestyles in the advanced nations will be generally brought down and the lifestyles of those in developing nations will be brought up. The former lose. The latter gain. The vast majority of the world's citizens eventually become working class, with a permanent elite bureaucratic nanny/surveillance state presiding over them. The comparatively tiny elite will reign as they did before, just more untouchable and immovable.

or

2. The advanced nations are using this climate nonsense as a Neoliberal project to keep the developing nations from actually developing. Instead they will continue to be a gigantic market of cheap labour and cheap resources, all managed by the advanced nations. The strongest developing nations will be allowed in the club. The leaders of the other developing nations will be rewarded for being good plantation managers.

The end goal will be somewhere in between in my mind. Regardless of the motives, it will all be in the name of equity and survival of the Earth.

I found this summary to be a good read. Also, there's a great chart you can use to irritate climate change advocates.

Climate Satellites are clearly Republican science deniers.

Damn those satellites, with their broader global view of things!

The article brings up another good point. The placement of heat measurement senors is a joke. Most of the sensors are in urban 'heatsinks' often right next to heat-creating locations.

It's all about science! And by "science", I mean "how I feel about it, regardless of data".

Ha, Trump thinks GW is a big hoax invented by the Chinese, but suddenly this non-crisis could now be a serious real threat to the coastal parts of his Irish golf course! No contradiction there!

I think Establishment reps have actually said to Trump: You may only become president if you play ball. There are long-term plans involved here. You may have a good time as president, or a really bad time, depending on how you re-iterate your political stances. Here are the rules... Here are the sacred cows and things you can't attack....

They apparently did it to Bush, and he miraculously became a believer in the end. They apparently told our former prime minister, Harper, to stop criticizing it and shut up. They can do it anyone. Trump is for sale, so he's okay with kissing some GW arse.

The flooding in Paris... appears to be less severe than in the flooding of 1910, 1955, and 1982

Alarmist message:

Realistic message based on records:
https://wattsupwiththat.com/2016/06/11/ ... ince-1910/

Waters sometime rise due to all sorts of factors. It's been happening for millennia.
